Planning second shoot

Planning Second Shoot - Black & White

When planning my second shoot which are going to be my black and white images I flicked through some magazines including Vogue and Dazed and confused. These showed some more wintery image which were in black and white and gave off quite a cold and edgy look to the image.
I am going to try and create this look by creating shadows on the face by using the light slightly above the models face and directed from different angles to create beautiful highlights on the face and shadows under the cheek bones and jaw.

Im planning on using a beetie dish which will hopefully create the shadows and look that I want. I feel like using this is more of a risky lighting system that the rest because in class when practising sometimes it worked with some people and other times it didn't because of the face shape or skin type. So if this doesn't work then I will be using a soft box but using it with the light quite bright.

I also want my model to look very natural because I think this is a great look when using this type of set up and mood.
Planning on my model to have curly bed hair look, minimal makeup look so will just be using the bace on the face, fill the eyebrows in slightly and mascara.
I didn't want to over do it with the makeup because some people suit it and some don't and my model has such a natural look that she doesn't need to put loads on.
