Practising with Lighting
In our lesson today we
started to play around with different lighting set ups and the effect the
lighting has on the image.
For beauty shots you often
need the light quite bright and hitting the face at the right height and angle
to make a flattering beauty shot.
In this lesson we used a soft
box lighting system to create a soft but bright image, using a soft box would
get rid of harsh shadows on the face but at the same time create beautiful soft
shadows under the cheek bones. In the images below I think the lighting worked
really well to capture a mood and warmth to the image. The eyes also really
stand out in this image because the light is hitting the eye makes the colour
stand out.
